Our At Retirement Workshop is aimed at those who are approaching retirement or thinking of accessing some or all of their retirement savings early. Whilst people of all ages are welcome to attend, its content is quite specifically suited to those aged 50 and over.
This is a very detailed and informative session that not only focuses on the financial aspects of planning for retirement but also engages delegates into thinking about some of the personal, emotional and subjective matters.
The session focuses around the journey from working life into retirement and planning all of one’s personal needs for later life. With there being so much content to cover, this workshop is constructed in a way to encourage participation making it a really enjoyable event to attend. Our feedback from these events is always positive with many delegates expressing their sincere appreciation for the depth of information covered and deliverance of thought provoking concepts.
Allowing time for a mid-session break and questions, 3 hours offers the ideal amount of time for this type of focused workshop. We tend to find smaller groups of between 8 to 14 delegates is ideal since the smaller numbers help to increase the level of participation however larger groups can be accommodated as the venue permits.
Delegates are invited to attend a one-to-one meeting offering the opportunity to discuss matters on a personal and confidential basis. All attendees are provided with a welcome pack containing some further generic information to support the event as well as being asked to complete an event feedback form, copies of which can be made available upon request.
